FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer is a coach that works with you to create a simpler, more efficient living space. We help clients assess their current situation and together create a plan to build a healthier environment. Getting your home in order is an investment in your life that will bring peace and productivity in the things that matter most to you.
Why hire an organizer?
To keep you on track! Have you ever attempted to organize only to find yourself an our later still staring at the clutter? As your coach, I will implement easy to follow systems, and find a home for everything so you can continue to stay organized long after I leave.
What should I expect during my organizing session?
Sessions are typically 3 hours long, and it is best that you be present during part of the session so that I can get your input on what to keep, toss and donate. I will make suggestions on design, container use and or other items you may already have that will help give you more space. At the end of the session I will assist you in trash removal on your property and suggest donation/consignment options.
Should I clean before my session?
No, please don't! I need to see how your current system is working to best evaluate a good course of action & solution.
Will I have to throw everything away?
No, but letting go of clutter is the key to success when getting organized. I will help you with the tough decisions. I often will ask if you feel that you need, use, want or love an item. If not, it's time to let it go.
Will my sessions be confidential?
Absolutely! My client's trust in me comes first! As a professional organizer, I serve my clients with integrity, objectivity, respect & courtesy.
Please be assured I will never share any conversation or confidential information.
